NOTICE (failure to pickup merchandise) - Virginia Book Company will hold your merchandise/textbooks for pickup for two weeks after the start of the semester or two weeks from the date of the order (whichever is later).  Unclaimed merchandise will be restocked and the card holder will be refunded the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee (minimum of $5.00).

Unfortunately, the 20% restocking fee must be charged due to the fact that VBC risks losing sales when merchandise is held and therefore not available for buying customers.
